The Natural Gas Infrastructure Company (ETYFA) is the state-owned company responsible for the development, implementation, and operation of the infrastructure required for the import of natural gas into the Republic of Cyprus. Its mission is to establish a modern, reliable, and safe natural gas infrastructure system that will enable the use of natural gas, contributing to lower energy costs, enhancing the country's energy security, and supporting the transition to a cleaner energy future.
ETYFA operates in the public interest, guided by the principles of transparency, accountability, and good governance. The company is jointly owned by the Public Natural Gas Corporation (DEFA), which holds a 70% share, and the Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC), which holds the remaining 30%.
